Defining the J. Abrams Audience

Our audience is as eclectic and diverse as our brand. They are fashion-forward, creatively driven, and passionate about self-expression. They appreciate quality, craftsmanship, and the deeper stories that our designs tell.

Model  Ambassador

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Visual Representation: Models primarily serve to visually represent and showcase J. Abrams' fashion collections. They bring our designs to life through photoshoots, runway shows, and promotional materials.
  • Creativity in Presentation: Models are selected for their distinctive look, confidence, and versatility in presenting different styles. They play a key role in conveying the aesthetic and essence of our brand.
  • Engagement with Content: While models may engage with our brand through social media and other channels, their primary focus is on their role during specific campaigns and shoots.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Brand Advocacy: Ambassadors are long-term representatives of J. Abrams. They embody our brand values and actively promote our mission and products in their daily lives and online presence.
  • Community Engagement: Ambassadors are deeply involved in engaging with our community, participating in campaigns, and creating content that highlights our brand ethos.
  • Two-Way Relationship: The relationship with ambassadors is more collaborative and interactive, focusing on mutual support and engagement between the ambassador and the brand.

Criteria for Selection:

  • Distinctive Look & Presence: A unique and striking appearance that aligns with our brand’s visual identity.
  • Confidence & Versatility: Ability to showcase a range of styles with poise and adaptability.
  • Engagement & Influence: An active social media presence with a loyal, engaged audience, though not necessarily large.

Criteria for Selection:

  • Post Frequency & Engagement: Regular posting and meaningful interaction with followers, consistently sharing and supporting our brand.
  • Authenticity & Support: Genuine connection with our brand values, including following back, engaging with brand content, and supporting brand initiatives.
  • Creative Contribution: Ability to contribute to brand content through styling, sharing, and participating in various brand activities and campaigns.
Primarily focused on showcasing and promoting the visual aspects of our fashion collections through their appearances and performances. E ngaged in a broader, ongoing role that includes advocating for the brand, engaging with the community, and representing the brand’s values on a personal level.

As we approach our 10-year anniversary, we’re thrilled to reflect on our journey—and more importantly, on you, our incredible community. Your loyalty and feedback have fueled us every step of the way.

Recently, we've noticed a growing interest in creating an ambassador program, and guess what? We're seriously considering it!

Why the Ambassador Program?

The J. Abrams brand has always been about more than just fashion; it's about a community that embraces bold designs, creative expression, and storytelling through style.

One thing we are definitely proud of is the cultivation of a community that can really really shake a room when they enter it. The sheer style and charisma we have seen displayed across our channels of followers. We are impressed!

Many of you have shown a keen interest in becoming more involved, helping to spread our vision and inspire others. With our milestone anniversary approaching, we believe the time is right to introduce a new wave of ambassadors - those that will greatly impact the next decade for J Abrams and who will be pivotal in our next level of ascension.

Being a J. Abrams ambassador goes beyond just wearing our pieces. It’s about embodying our brand ethos, living creativity, and supporting the community we've built together. Here's what we’re looking for:

  1. Post Frequency Consistency is key. We value individuals who post regularly and engage meaningfully with their followers, keeping their personal brand—and ours—fresh. Whether you're styling J. Abrams pieces or showcasing your daily life, regular activity on social media is essential.

  2. Engagement & Collaboration Have you tagged us in your posts? Participated in our giveaways, challenges, or campaigns? We’re closely watching those who have organically supported the brand and engaged with our content over time. If you’ve been tagging us or sharing your favorite J. Abrams styles, you're already on our radar!

  3. Follow Back & Show Support Ambassadorship is a two-way street. We’re looking for people who want to build a mutual relationship with us. An ideal ambassador follows back, likes, and actively supports our page just as much as we support them. Your engagement shows that you’re truly part of the J. Abrams family.

  4. Engagement with Brand Content It's valuable for you to actively engage with our brand. This includes communicating with us in the comments when we ask a question, responding to polls on our stories, and sharing our posts to your profile.

  5. BONUS: The unstated 5th pillar is VALUES - Do you have a deep understanding of what the core values of the brand are? Are these the things that you value that can easily be relayed to your followers? 

Perks of the Program & Tier System

As part of our ambassador program, we’re excited to offer exclusive perks that will grow as you progress through our tier system. At Tier 1, ambassadors will receive early access to new collections, exclusive discounts, and the chance to collaborate on limited-edition designs.

As you move up the tiers, the benefits only get better, with opportunities for greater involvement in our creative process, invitations to special events, and even profit-sharing on select collaborations.

1 & 2: Distinctive Look & Presence The J. Abrams brand thrives on individuality. We’re drawn to models with a unique, striking look that stands out—whether that’s through expressive features, unconventional beauty, or a captivating presence that commands attention. We're looking for diversity in all forms, celebrating different backgrounds, sizes, and styles that reflect the wide array of people who connect with our brand.

3 & 4: Authenticity & Connection Our models aren’t just faces; they’re storytellers. We seek individuals who can authentically represent the spirit of J. Abrams, creating a genuine connection with the audience. If you have the ability to convey emotion and narrative through your photos, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

5 & 6: Engagement & Influence Your influence matters. We’re interested in models who have an active social media presence and who know how to engage their audience. This doesn’t mean you need millions of followers, but it does mean you should have a loyal, engaged community that interacts with your content. We want to see how your audience responds to your posts, especially when you showcase fashion and style.

7 & 8: Confidence & Versatility Confidence is key in bringing our pieces to life. We look for models who are comfortable in front of the camera, who can showcase our designs with energy and poise. Versatility is also important; whether it's streetwear, avant-garde, or high fashion, you should be able to adapt your look and presence to suit the various styles within our collections.

We seek models who can resonate with our audience—who can inspire them, relate to them, and represent the J. Abrams ethos in a way that feels authentic and compelling.

How to Submit Your Information

If you believe you’re a perfect fit for J. Abrams, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s what we need:

  1. Portfolio Please submit a selection of your best photos that showcase your versatility as a model. Include a mix of professional shots and more casual images that show your personal style and how you naturally present yourself.

  2. Social Media Handles Provide links to your social media profiles, especially Instagram. We want to see how you engage with your audience and how they respond to your content. If you’ve already posted about J. Abrams, be sure to highlight those posts!

  3. Engagement Insights Share any relevant engagement metrics from your social media profiles. This could include average likes, comments, and overall engagement rates. We’re particularly interested in how your followers interact with fashion-related content.

  4. Personal Statement Include a brief statement about why you want to model for J. Abrams. Tell us what excites you about our brand, how you connect with our values, and what unique qualities you bring to the table.

Quarterly Submission Review & Ongoing Evaluation

Submissions are reviewed on a quarterly basis, and a formal submission marks the beginning of our tracking and monitoring process. Once you submit your application, it will remain in review for a total of three quarters. During this time, we’ll be assessing how well you align with our brand’s vision and whether you meet all 8 of our criteria. If you haven't been selected after three quarters, you will need to resubmit to remain in consideration.

A common misconception is that we are only looking for individuals with a large following, but for our modeling program, nothing could be further from the truth. Our primary goal in the model selection process is finding someone who embodies the look of the brand and engages authentically with their audience, regardless of its size. We value those whose audience not only recognizes but also appreciates them for being uniquely themselves.

If you meet all our criteria and identify deeply with the essence of J. Abrams, we believe in building a long-term, partnered relationship that goes beyond a single campaign or photoshoot. We’re looking for models who can grow with us, become part of our brand family, and help us shape the future of J. Abrams together.
